Inughuit

An encounter with the Inuit from the Thule district, one of the Eskimos’ best hunting-grounds, occupied since 1953 by a military base and under threat on all sides from the big oil companies. Torn between the necessity of modernism and traditional life in an environement in which they were perfectly integrated, the Inuit tell their story.
