There are several prophets in the Ivory Coast who simultaneously fit against witchcraft and “fettishism”, preach the Bible, stress the necessity of schooling and literacy, recommend development and attend to the sick. The film examines these new cults, from the New Big Papa to “harrist” churches, by highlighting the connection between their development and that of the Ivorian economy.
