Rom

Menelaos Karamaghiolis
1989 Greece 75 minutes Greek

A kaleidoscope of images which evoke the traditions and daily life of the Rom people is the backdrop for a poem recited by four voices which explore four aspects of its mystery. The historian gives a few guide-lines, the photographer analyses the images which fascinate him, the old woman incarnates the oval tradition of myths and legends, while the young woman is a reminder of the demands of modernity.
