It’s Now or Never

County Clare in the west of Ireland, the last stretch of land before the Atlantic, famous for its music, its pubs, its dry stone walls… and its old bachelors dressed in black. For a long time now, the young women have left the County for Dublin or America, leaving the men at home trying to survive on their small family farms. Some dream of putting an end to their loneliness and, to find a soul mate, they try their luck at the singles’ fair in Lisdoonvarna, or fall back on the services of a matchmaker.
