The petrol crisis is raging. The owner of the oil Petrox Corporation company invests all his possessions searching oil in an unexplored island. On board his ship, is an environment scientist. During the voyage, the crew rescue a beautiful woman surviving a wreck. Since the oil in the island is not ready for exploitation, the tycoon turns his attention to the Beast on the island, a huge gorilla called Kong. It falls in love with Belle, which will lead to its loss, in New York abandoned to advertisements. The myth is adapting to its time, Belle talks more than she cries and is attached to the “monster” which is more of a gorilla than a “creature”, as the symbol for Nature ruined by cynical capitalism. The scientist abandons the blonde to paparazzi.
