An essay on young women on the fringe of society, based on three “zonardes” (drop-outs) who hang out in the Halles region of Paris, in the stations, the parking lots, and who eat in the people’s soup kitchens and sleep in a refuge for the homeless in the Paris suburb of Nanterre. A dramatic progression which starts with a girl running away from home and ends in a sub-standard style of life.
