A documentary about a popular seaside feast in honour of São Pedro, 8-9 August 1975. Campos is one of the best observers of social change in his country, the irreplaceable witness of a world that had long slept in the cocoon of its ancestral traditions and was suddenly confronted with the eruption of modern life, which the successive waves of returning migrants had gradually brought back to their villages.
