Auguste, a still-active eighty-year-old farmer, lives with Marie, also eighty years old and suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Auguste takes care of her as she deserves but, sometimes, Marie no longer recognises her husband. The couple’s existence is rooted in the harsh traditions of the Ardennes, far from the sophisticated comfort of city life. They are full of respect and tenderness for each other and, despite their age, are in love and wish to remain so for a long time to come.
