Carmen Castillo was to wait thirty years before returning to Santiago de Chile, to Santa Fe Street where she lived in hiding for several months after the military coup. It is there that her companion, Miguel Enriquez, leader of the MIR, the movement of Chile’s revolutionary left, was killed by armed forces serving the new dictatorship. (Federico Rossin)
