Charlotte and Abi are mother and 19 year old daughter. Charlotte is serving her third prison term for importing cocaine. Crewed by prisoners who were trained in filmmaking techniques, the result is a powerful exploration of what happens when a mother and child are separated due to imprisonment. Charlotte is shocked by her daughter’s biker lifestyle. Abi is trying to get enough mothering to let herself grow up. They meet to argue and fight, but the film remains with them and they finally reach a point of mutual acceptance.
