Family Business

Nino Monti left Sicily in 1920 and came to America with nothing. He was seventeen. He worked in the docks of Philadelphia for 42 years, often doing working double shifts, so that he could give everyhing to his son, Sam. Sam now runs a flourishing funeral business and has fulfilled his father’s dreams. But he is nearing retirement and there is no-one to take over the business. Valerie, his daughter, would rather do other things.
