80 % of the inhabitants of Glencoe, a small town in Minnesota, are of German origin and live off the land. This film, begun in 1979 and completed in 1985, enables us to follow the changes which have taken place over that period. It also reveals to us personal viewpoints on marriage, the Vietnam war, blacks, etc…
