For years, Xiaoxing has not seen the uncle who settled in Argentina. Last time they were supposed to meet, they only saw each other through a glass partition at Paris airport, for lack of a visa. Xiaoxing finally manages to visit his uncle. He finds a man those life is bankrupt. His wife has left him to return to China with their daughter. He lives in a room over the shop he looks after. Xiaoxing and his mother offer the uncle a dream the three of them can make come true: a trip to the world’s largest glaciers at Perito Moreno.
