Breaking away from the traditional methods of shooting documentary films, Susumu Hani sets up his camera in a classroom. Its presence is very soon forgotten by the children. The crew film the children during lessons, at playtime, on their way to school… with no supporting scenario. Thanks to his way of filming, which respects the children’s spontaneity, the filmmaker succeeds wonderfully in revealing the personality and the feelings of the children’s world.
