La Nouba des femmes du Mont Chenoua

Leïla, a young Algerian architect, returns to her home region. As she sets out to find her memories, she makes a series of encounters with six women who share episodes of their life with her. Part fiction, part documentary, the film intermingles Leïla’s personal itinerary and the memories of these women, who have lived through the war of independence and have a host of local stories to tell.
