Narrative, told by an intimate voice, of the last trip to a remote country (a small valley of the New Guinea highlands) where the narrator (an anthropologist) used to go regularly and where circumstances now prevent him to go back. A nostalgic narrative on the poetry of small things, very different from ethnographic films or exotic travelogues.
