Le Silence du fleuve

17th October 1961: on the initiative of the FLN, Algerians demonstrate in Paris. The French police use their truncheons, kill and throw the dead into the River Seine. The film deals with this tragic day, mixing interviews of witnesses and protagonists, archive material and contemporary sequences shot at the scene of the events.
