Les Arabes aiment les chats

In June 2009, Tamaas invited eight poets and filmmakers to Tangier, Morocco. Four poet-filmmaker pairs collaborated using Super8 film and writing original texts to create these experimental film-poems. Working under tight time constraints, the artists took inspiration from the city of Tangier as well as from each other to produce these short films that draw on themes of humanity, migration, tradition and loss.
