Les Frères des frères

From 1954 to 1962, a certain number of French People helped members of the Algerian National liberation front in France. They provided accomodation, means of transport and false documents. They also helped them cross borders illegally and smuggle secret funds. Because they displayed their feeling of solidarity in concrete ways at the height of the colonial war between France and Algeria, they became the symbol of the link between two peoples.
