“Los Marielitos” is the last of a series of three films about Cuban refugees in the United States. The persons interviewed, who left from the Cuban port of Mariel in 1980, compare their life in Cuba to that in the United States. Many speak of their disappointment, and their accounts are full of numerous contradictions.
