A short film on the fishing techniques and rituals of the Fanti in Ghana: the “surf boys'” offshore fishing, the customary and Catholic funerals of a priestess of the water spirit “Mammy Water”, a ceremony in honour of Mammy Water for the opening of the fishing season… A special screening (sound and image) will offer an opportunity to discover the different versions of the “commentary” (voice-over) of this film, whose images and sound were edited several times over.
