Martha

The life of Martha Bieder, one of the last of Berlin’s legendary “Trümmerfrauen” (“women of the ruins”), who were faced with the ruins of their homes and their city at the end of the War. Martha talks about her work and about some moments in her long life. The film also gives us an indirect and personified image of the historical dimension of the last thirty years of our history.
