Mikikanhei o otte – Marei hen

Imamura lands in Malaysia in search of former Japanese soldiers who were supposedly never informed that the war was over and who are still living hidden away in the jungle. Imamura tries to gather information from the Japanese who settled down and stayed there after the end of the hostilities. The filmmaker continues his search… After this film, he intends to go on searching in Thailand.
