…No Lies

Filmed in a cinema vérité style, with the same devices (interview), …No Lies tells the story, somewhat crudely, of the rape of a young woman. The film plays on our expectations and stigmatises the violence of direct cinema and male society. Yet, in trying to formally translate a brutal experience, it runs the risk of falling into the very trap it denounces.
