Pins and Needles

A documentary that deals with the emotional struggle of a 24 year-old woman who contracts multiple sclerosis and becomes a paraplegic in less than 18 months. It examines the attitudes and reactions of her parents, her husband and friends, who all change as a result of her disability. Genni Batterham incorporates her personal battle to come to terms with her disability with broader implications which have a bearing on all disabled people in this society.
