Prijel k nam cirkus

Juraj Sliva was both clown and owner of the Croatian circus, Adria, which toured the whole of Yugoslavia. Shortly after the conflict broke out, he fled to Romania where he now continues to work with what remains of his troupe. Between two performances, in relatively impoverished suburbs, he recalls past joys and the incomprehensible consequences of the war with bitter irony : “The whole world is nothing but a circus”.
