All they know of France are the waste grounds tucked away between the suburban train tracks and the city ring roads, or the metro where they go begging… They are gipsies, from Romania, and live here in caravans and back home in tumble-down houses. They love their children and exploit therm. They seek asylum and prepare their return’ Following a photographer, who has frequented them for three years, this film is the story of an improbable encounter.
