Réjane dans la tour

“Rejane does the cleaning in a tower block in Val Fourré. By listening to her, watching her movements and following her footsteps, we can see what it is like nowadays for a forty-five year old woman to be living on a tightrope. There exists an extremely fine balance between her madness and her profoundly charming personality. Excluded from society as she is poor and unemployed, Réjane is almost done for, but she smiles and dances away. “It isn’t a problem”.
