Rekni mi neco o sobe – René

From an institution for juvenile delinquents through to a prison for adults, the film traces the different episodes of René’s life. An adolescent from a split family, he is without bearings in a country disrupted by a new economic situation: cross-examinations, probationary periods, periodic return to his family. Throughout the two-year shooting period, the director attempts to establish a personal relationship with the young man, whose letters and confidences to the camera leave one to hope that he will be true to his intentions. But René’s fate is already sealed…
