Respice finem

Jan Špáta’s first documentary essay Respice finem talks about old age, solitude and death. The filmmaker follows several elderly country people that live alone in isolated houses. He brings to the fore how they are able to live in harmony with nature, to accept their solitary existence and, above all, to live happily.
