The vidéo film is a dialogue, the visit of friends, and film work. For Kurt Raab, it meant consistency and a continuation of the life he had led till then. Nothing would have been more tragic for him than, knowing he was fatally ill, to have been severed from the life he had led up to then. A testimony to his parting emerged : subjects as taboo as AIDS, death, and the Catholicism of a gay person were the issues that were raised. (Anke Oehme)
