Ivan Timirjasew served as adjuddant to the Russian Governer General in Finland for 27 years before the independence and stayed in the country after that as a private person – he was also an active photographer. With the photos by Timirjasew and an efficient sound-track, the film gives a view not only of the life of the man himself, but also of the time and the history.
