From 15th to 30th March, 1968, Karel Vachek shoots 6 hours of material that he edits to tell the 14 days leading to the presidential election in 1968 Czechoslovakia. Vachek switches on his camera when reporters stop using theirs, thus drawing a portrait of the main characters of the Prague Spring (Alexander Dubček, Ludvík Svoboda) to convey the unique energy of a historical moment.
