Although little-known, the nursery based in Antony, near Paris, was once one of the leading mental healthcare centres in France. The daily life of this unique institution – which now seems like a utopia – was filmed in 1999, a few months before its closure. Sixteen years later, the filmmaker revisits these unused images to bring to light the inventive work accomplished by this centre for young children.
