Trzynastka

In a village in the Bieszczady mountains, the lack or resources forces a widow and her thirteen children into a daily struggle to feed themselves. Permanently tortured by hunger, yet united by a deep-rooted sense or family, the children help each other to poach, find birds’ nests or roast lizards. Their mother would not agree to sending them to the orphanage for anything in the world.
