Riga, a rock concert. On their way home, a group of thirty youngsters ransack a railway carriage. Seven of them are taken to court and sentenced to 3 years in prison. Juris Podnieks follows a parallel enquiry and paints the portrait of a young generation, disenchanted and concerned by subjects that had thus far been taboo (drugs, military service, rock music), and prey to a certain anguish as to the future.
