A letter to the Mexican painter, Gerardo Murillo about cultural tourism globalization as experienced in the Guadalajara region. Gerardo Murillo “Dr Atl” was the first artist to give a modern vision of Mexican landscapes. “Dear Dr Atl, I wished to send you these lines, because I have recently been thinking about your art. I was reflecting on the way you represented all these landscapes(…) When you painted them, did you imagine they would be seen in galleries and museums?”
