1997 France; United States 29 minutes English

In 1995, filmmakers Yasha and Carrie Aginsky returned to San Francisco where Carrie’s 90 year old mother, Natalie, was languishing in an old people’s home. Carrie decided to bring her mother into her own home so that she could care for her in the last months of her life and let her die with dignity. Moved by Natalie’s situation and by Carrie’s response, Yasha began documenting this experience. Two years after Natalie died, he made this film with Carrie, in which she relates her mother’s life and death.
