Hotet – Uhkkadus

The Lapps were among those who suffered the most in the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe: ground pollution led to a total ban on all agricultural produce and the slaughter of reindeer. Apart from their basically rural mode of life, their culture and lifestyle have also been endangered.
