In a big Copenhagen hospital, most AIDS cases in Denmark are treated in the department of infections pathology. Through the observation of the daily work of nurses and doctors, the film highlights the physical and psychological consequence of the disease, as well as the quality of treatment and the attitudes necessary.
Née en 1941. Etudes d’histoire de l’art à l’Université de Copenhague. Fondatrice et directrice du premier cinéma danois de documentaires, Kino Valde (1969-72), importe et distribue des documentaires et films d’art. Depuis 1980, réalisatrice indépendante de documentaires pour la télévision et pour l’enseignement.
