In the modern lumberings of today, a single woodcutter is enough for drinving sophisticated machine that fells trees and saws them up at the same time. For generations man has used horses for conveying lumber. In the heart of Sweden, two men and four horses have kept up this difficult method of heavy work. Rambo, Kenny, Dynamite and “the retired one” bring the frozen forests of the Great North back to life.
Née en 1960, en Norvège. De 1982 à 1984, elle a étudié la photographie à New York au centre de photographie Cornell Capa. Elle a réalisé des films expérimentaux dans le cadre de ses études d’écriture visuelle à l’université de New York, en 1984. A produit Nora’s secret (1985), une première fiction. Etudes au Dramatic Insitute of Sweden où elle suit des cours de réalisation jusqu’en 1989. Elle a réalisé dans le cadre de son diplôme The House (1989).
