Garrincha, A alegria do povo

This film portrays Mané Garrincha, the bow-legged football player who enthralled Brazilian spectators. The successful footballer is nevertheless a prisoner to one-sided contracts and is subjected to a series of constraints, with no guarantee of finally escaping the destitute life from which he rose to fame.
