The peace agreement between the Angolan government and the UNITA rebels has indeed been signed, but the machinery of war continues to ravage the country. The fields surrounding the capital Malanje are still mine-infested and the farmers are now organizing themselves in order to recover this land.

Né en Angola en 1967. Travaille comme archiviste de cinéma et journaliste à la radio et télévision angolaise. Etudes de cinéma à Cuba. Cofondateur en 1995 de la société de production Dreadlocks, qui réalise des films institutionnels sur les problèmes sociaux.
