Now an Israeli citizen, Margalit decides to open the secret file on the trial of her father, Pinchas Katz, who was leader of the Zionist movement in Estonia and executed in 1941 forr “attempting to establish a bourgeois state in Palestine with the support of the capitalist countries” (quote from the final verdict). In search of her father’s grave, she leaves for Estonia with her son, Pinchas Schatz, who directed the film.
