Drake and Son

Timothy John Clements
1997 United Kingdom 32 minutes English

November 1996. Jim, the father, has been running the farm for 50 years. Michael was born in the farmhouse 47 years ago. He works on his father’s farm and lives in a cottage just one field away, which he bought from his father when he got married. Michael has some ideas on agricultural development and represents his village on the local authority bodies, but his father always has a word to say about how to run the farming business. Michael’s son will not carry on the farm.
