At the end of his working day, Hasheme the taxi-driver picks up a last passenger, a woman. When he sets her down, she rushes off into the night leaving a small baby in the back of the taxi. Hasheme has no choice but to return home with the baby. When the possibility of an adoption is envisaged, a quarrel breaks out between Hasheme and his mistress.
