A solitary old man, Mikalaj is the only inhabitant of Europe’s largest forest, Belovezhskaya Pushcha. He brings his world back to life by carving hundreds of wooden figurines. His characters form a society where they are born, work, divorce, and where a nuclear bomb threatens the very existence of this little community.
