To break away from loneliness and isolation imposed upon them after they emigrated to France, some Portuguese immigrant workers have formed a society where they come together. A kind of Portuguese village is born in a Paris suburb. They talk about the past and organize the present.

Né en 1936 à Estramoz, Portugal. aide-maçon puis ouvrier chez Renault, il a réalisé plusieurs films sur l’immigration portugaise.
