The small town of Bialy Bor has organized each year since 1980 a dance marathon, inspired by the book and film “They shoot horses don’t they”. This documentary film, shot during a time of crisis in the summer of 83, depicts the atmosphere of the competition, and tries to explain the organizers’ and competitors’ motivations.
Beata Postnikoff
Ancienne élève de la faculté de philosophie et de sociologie de l’Université de Varsovie. En 1976, elle a reçu le diplôme de metteur en scène de l’Ecole de Cinéma de Lodz.
Elle travaille depuis 1977 à la télévision polonaise où elle réalise essentiellement des reportages et des documentaires.
