Der Gekaufte Traum

I made my first film on super 8 mm. I started it on my first year in DFFB, and worked on it for three years… I could not think of an ending, since it portrays a working class family, and I was trying to show their struggle against never-ending hardship… I eventually managed to have the film blown-up onto 16 mm at my own expense. The Forum for Young cinema screened it in 1977, and it ran for two months in a small student theater.
